Advisory Services/Trade Recommendations E-mail
Wednesday, 30 July 2008
Hi Guys,

I have struggled as a trader, and have given my bankroll away a few times.

I now do not have the time to commit to continue learning, and I probably do not have what it takes to be a good trader.

However, in my job (broker) I still need to be aware of the markets, and I do actually still love being involved with trading and having positions on.

However, to stay involved, I want to run my small portfolio based on trade recommendation. I currently subscribe to www.sevedaysahead.com and I find them to be spot on. They send out trade recommendations as and when they happen (maybe 1 a week). I also subscribe to The Gartman Letter, which is pretty insightful and gives good as well as bad trade recommendations, but generally finishes in the green come year end.

Anyway, I guess I am looking for similar services. Can anybody recommend any?

Ideally I want to avoid CFD advisory brokers such as Galvin and Blue Index, because I think there is a massive conflict of interest involved, and these guys are just chancers in disguise. (just my opinion). Their job is to just tmake people trade, and I don't think they really care about how their portfolio performs.

I don't mind paying for advice and trade recommendations as long as companies/individuals can show me consistent returns and devote a lot of time to the cause. In fact, I would rather pay for advice. I am generally dubious of all free advice when it come to trade recommendations.

So to finish, can anybody steer me in the direction of services I should subscribe to? My strategy will be to probably to split my portfolio between 5 or 6 different reccommendation service. Ideally I want to avoid services that give really short term trade recomendations, ie trades that last for 1-3 hours, as I often don't have the time to get them on.

Anyay, thanks in advance for the feedback and help.

Many Thanks

Mike
