If so; can anyone tell me if it is feasible to do intraday pairs trading. I have been doing simulation with equity pairs: FNM - FRE and some others using linear regression because I am assuming that the pairs have a higher probablity of converging back to the mean from Sigma2... but lately I have also been looking at just plain old single equities(ie: SPY, XLE etc.) and have found that they also regress back to the mean from Sigma2 .... I guess what I would like to know is if my technique is working because of my unique linear regression technical analysis setups or is it because of the pairs (since I haven't done enough testing on single equities).

hello. I am a first timer here. I've been trading for about 6 years and get a lot of leads for stocks in Canada and Austrailia but have been unable to locate a broker that does it all. The closest I can come is IB but they really focus on options worldwide and stocks are minor and the exchanges they do list for stocks are minor. Scottrade seems to be offering Canadian, but I can't get confirmation. I'm looking for an online broker that takes a USA citizen for an account and is able to provide good stock, option and forex trades worldwide. Does anything like this exist?
